Growing up mixed race on a land foreign to her identity and understanding of community brought Farhana into the decolonial path of bridging worlds and communion with Ancestral Medicines.
Greetings
Farhana currently studies her mother tongue: Taino and is based in The Peruvian Amazon. Her interests and experience includes Healing from a Decolonial perspective, Shipibo Language and Plant Medicine Healing, Women's Healing, Cultural and Religious Trauma.
Cultural reverence and ancestral healing is interconnected with my perception of the natural world. By accepting our own story we can truly heal wounds and unite as a society. To live a life of honoring the ancestors and abundance on earth. For verily, we have every tool we need to survive.
Now in The Amazon I give space to my full wild side to explore a communion among the plants and in service to teachers. As I manage time between the online world and jungle, I will be sharing plants and remedies incorporating a full spectrum healing approach one can take to cleanse or heal. I hope to provide the medicines and tools that you can too become your own self healer. Healing is certainly for everyone and one day you are invited to join me in a retreat centre we dream of sharing.
CURA is my sense of the world, what work exists to bring into clarity the vision of where we are going as a collective. Home connected me with my heart and roots, the ancestors rituals that were earth based. A medicinal path I wish to grant all folks, especially women, mestizos, indigenous people the access and community to heal.
Gracias
Blessings
